Skelekitty & Friends' Shop is Now Open on Etsy

Hey there skelecats and skelekittens - I finally got around to opening up my very own shop on Etsy called "Skelekitty and Friends." Although Krissi will continue to carry prints & merchandise of me and my friends in her store, my online store will be your ultimate one-stop skelecritter shop!

I worked yesterday afternoon to post the most popular skelecritter prints ($16 each), and some are even available with custom hand embellishments ($25 each). Shipping is free on your second print (up to five), and be sure to ask about a discount on multiple print/card purchases, too.
I'm photographing and posting more original art - it just takes me a little more time than it takes you humans on accounta my lack of thumbs. Not only are existing pieces still going up on the site, but Krissi is busy working on two new paintings already - I think she's taking advantage of how fast-drying acrylic paints are in this weather.

HEY KIDS!!!! IT'S A GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!

In the meantime, head over to Etsy (where it's free to register and shop) and add my shop to your favorites and you will be entered into a drawing to win an embellished print of the Angel Kitty from Love Cats:I'll choose the winner next Friday, July 24th from those who publicly "" my shop (yeah, that means you secret admirers won't be entered, so ya gotta 'fess up!).

I hope you've got something hip and cool planned for the upcoming midsummer weekend. I'll probably just put my paws up, grab a cold drink and snooze, occasionally checking into see how many people "love" me! (skele-kidding).

Summer skele-love,

AND the layers upon layers (upon layers) of gel medium & glazing liquid / paint have dried so the "cloudiness" that was apparent in the in progress photos is finally gone.

"Poison" is an 8x10" acrylic on wood painting and is priced to sell at only $50 (plus CA sales tax - if you're in CA, and $7 shipping/insurance).

I've already had several inquiries, but as of this posting, this lovely little "Jolly Roger" version of your favorite, feisty skeleton kitty is still available.

A little low on scratch? Worry not. Prints are also available for an even better price of $16 each (and if you purchase more than one print, shipping on the rest -up to 5- is FREE!)

New SKSoA Recipient: Oblinaknit!

I became aware of Oblinaknit during late April when Krissi started participating in the facebook DaVinci Mode 30-day creative challenge (thank you Stacy McQueen, THE Craft Whore for starting that challenge!).

Amy's creativity is seemingly unending - she knits, creates beautiful jewelry, sews adorable wristlet pouches and is just a darn funny and mighty supportive chica. Oh, and she loves cats - which is reason enough to award her the coveted (not really) Skelekitty Stamp o' Approval!

I hope you'll check out the various places on the interwebs where you can find Amy, her kitties and her creations.

Here Fishy, Fishy, Fishy!

Since Krissi is painting the day away, I went browsing on the interwebs and found these cute "Holy Mackerel" earrings by Anthropologie.com:
Cute, huh?  At $178, these critters are a little out of this kitty cat's price range, though.  Well now look at these fishbone earrings at a teensy fraction of the price in Arindelle's shop on Etsy.

Of course, I was looking for a snack, not earrings, but I figured y'all might think these were cute.

My Pal Skelebat Available in a Print!

Until today, prints from Krissi's original art quilt, Goin' Batty, had only been available at art shows or to those in the know (sorta like ordering off menu at In N Out).

I'm pleased to announce that Skelebat has now been added to both the Skelekitty family and the growing number of art prints available in her Etsy store:

All 8x10" prints shop are printed on high quality archival photo paper and are enclosed in a professional clear envelope with an acid free cardboard backing.  Included with each print is a 1/2 sheet page with the title, information on the original art piece and the artist's name and signature.  Prints are $15 each plus $4.80 Priority Mail shipping and, should you feel inclined to order more than one, shipping on the second print is only a penny.

Here are a few of the prints currently available in Krissi's Etsy shop:

We know money is tight with everyone and prints are a great way to collect art you love without breaking the bank.  So is there an original piece of art you'd like to have as a print?  Just let me know - I'll tell Krissi; she's very happy to offer new prints upon request.

Stamps in Stock and a new Print

The initial order of Skelekitty rubber stamps arrived from Santa Fe yesterday and are available for purchase on Krissi's Etsy site at $14.00 each or a set of all 4 for $50. If you don't have an Etsy account (it's free to join and shop, so you should!), just e-mail Krissi and tell her which and how many stamps you would like to order and she'll send you an invoice, easy as pie.

She has also created a new print and made it available on Etsy. It's the angel-kitten from her original mixed-media piece, Love Cats in an 8x10" (well, 10x8" really) print.

She looks a little like me, just with wings and fur.  The print is only $15 (plus CA tax if you're a resident). She's a perfect holiday gift. Not "into" kitties (GASP!)? There are several other works available as 8x10 prints too, so check it out.

I'm Back on Etsy

One of my fans asked Krissi last night why there weren't any items featuring ME in her Etsy shop last night (thanks kellykellyw3!).  After receiving the kitty-stink-eye from me, Mom immediately added some prints back into the shop!  Don't forget that the bottlecap jewelry is still available with your fave image of ME!  Greeting cards will be added back in soon too - they used to be sold in singles (and still are at Side Show Studios and Grind & Groove in Sacramento), but I think I've talked her into making packs of 8 for Etsy to make the shipping worthwhile.

Skelekitty (& more) Bottlecap Jewelry

It's true! Mom finally got off her butt and listed some bottlecap pendants featuring me (and some stupid shoes) on Etsy!

Each pendant comes on an 18 or 20" ball chain with clasp and is only $17 (earrings will soon be available for $20/pair).

These are also going to be carried at the one and only Grind & Groove in Midtown Sacramento (verrrrrry soon).
